Quality Sign Blanks

Allwood Sign Blanks are produced from the Highest Quality
Western Red Cedar. Each Sign Blank is produced from No. 1
Grade – Kiln Dried – Vertical Grain – Western Red Cedar.
The end result is the Finest Natural Wood Substrate available.
Each blank is finished all 6 sides and is 1 ¾” thick and Individually boxed.

Western Red Cedar has many of the same
properties as Redwood:

· High tannin content, giving excellent weathering characteristics.

· Cedar Roof Shingles have an expected Life of 20 to 30 Yrs.

· Very short grain, which reduces stress
(minimal checking and warping).

· Approximately the same density as Redwood.

Western Red Cedar has several advantages
over Redwood:

· Cedar possesses a more uniform density throughout the log.

· Cedar is free of sapwood and heartwood.

· Cedar is not an endangered species.

Our posts measure a hefty 4 3/8” square. Due to their laminated construction,
they will not warp or twist. They are available in 4’ and 6’ lengths and with our
interlocking pipe system sections can be combined to build 8’, 10’ and 12’ in length.
